We entertained ourselves by watching movies and sleeping. We occasionally did schoolwork, but it's difficult when you leave it at school. Overall, it was a fun experience that would have been more fun if it had actually rained/stormed.
This week has been a fairly normal one. We get up, go to school and come home. Yesterday, we had our very staff meeting. It was almost three hours long and talked about a lot of stuff we didn't understand or had nothing to do with us. Apparently, there is some new school reform which isn't going to be good for the school. This then prompted them to start talking about how they are trying to become more like the states and use their flawed experiments with government. Let's just say that made Amy and I a little uncomfortable.
Then we moved onto the hot topics. That is, whether or not jeans are considered professional or not. Yes, this prompted a half hour long discussion. We also threw in the secretaries and copying privileges. Once again, three hours long. I made a fortune teller and my teacher drew on her notes. Once we hit the jeans issue, we zoned out.
Today I started my work for the PLC. I'm doing past tense. I'm hoping they'll start to see the difference. I have a lot of fun activities I'm going to try out and see if they work. Oh, and a student came up to ask me if I was pregnant. Awesome...And for the record, it's a no.
